Honda Civic 08 Ex-L shakes at certain speeds.

Asked by dennismorgan Apr 11, 2014 at 08:40 AM about the 2008 Honda Civic EX-L

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Honda Civic 089 EX-L (84K miles) shakes while driving at various speeds like driving
over road warning treadles (not as severe). Give it more acceleration and "shaking" goes
away. Motor mount was replaced a year ago but problem still exists.Civic has been
checked out at 3 dealerships and no one has an answer. Motor mount was replaced a
year ago but shaking still exists. Some mechanics have mention the torque module in the
transmission as well as using the word "Reflashing" problem?

if engine is buttoned up tight, the rumble may be a misfire . after a while of this it may set a code.and cel light will come on, maybe not, depending on factors.some ideas are, t.p.s., m. a f, throttle plate inspection for clean, ngk spark plugs, knock sensor values, If it ran good new, why all this reflashing going on?
