Left tail light wiring harness pigtail

Took my 2008 avalanche to shop none of
the lights working on left side so were told
replace the harness and pigtail we I did
still not working  what's my next option

The first thing I would have done or do now, use a test lite and voltage and ground on the proper circuits. note the diagram.
