Battery for 2008 550 CLK?

Lately my car has had some trouble smoothly starting. Three weeks ago it
wouldn't start at all and AAA came to jump start the battery. He also tested the
battery and said the meters indicated it needed to be replaced, like soon. I
didn't replace it then, drove home, and haven't had any serious problems since
then but at times the engine sputters at bit when starting. Question is: If it's not
a Starter problem, is it okay to replace my current battery with the one
supplied by AAA?  Do Mercedes Benz cars need special batteries or ones
specific to MB? Thanks in advance!!!

As long as it is the correct (not close, exact) specifications and it fits, no problem with non OEM battery. Since most modern MB batteries are of AGM construction, they will be $$$
