SLK 350 2008

car cuts out after driving through deep water in fl
could not stop in middle of flood made it home just
before pulling in garage temp light went on turned
car off took a minute to turn off car made screaming
sound could have been fan belt. Now does not run
smooth , cuts out makes low sound when shifting
ps how long before I get an answer?

Suggest the Fluid levels be checked for signs of water intrusion. Pull ghe engine dip stick if there is one and see if the oil has a ...milky....appearance. The Air Intake System should be disassembled and inspected for water intrusion. Get back with results.
