Where do I release back seat?

Check the trunk. There might be a release knob in there.

That is exactly where the release levers are. Good call steveq... Open trunk, then right beside the trunk hinges, there are pull-knobs high up one on each side.

To me its not quite as convenient, but I have noticed most newer cars are putting the release lever there. I have also just found out that as 2011 the spare tire has been deleted on almost all new car models. This is something the dealer wont mention ethier. They say its to save weight. I think its to save money for them.It can be ordered as a option.

Sometimes my truck is frozen and won't open. Can I put down the back seat from INSIDE the car. My Echo has a release button for golfing the seats down by the head rest
