Fuses light only when in use. finding why an engine will crank properly but not start is a real test of diagnostic skills as there are SO MANY things that could be causing the problem. Start by checking the battery and connections. Then progress to testing spark and fuel availability. Good mechanics just know the procedure, and if you're not used to this as your question would suggest, have a mechanic diagnose and fix..... Isn't it better to have a car that runs rather than create anxiety over it?

Check the fuses in the underhood fuse box. They typically send power to the in cabin fuse box. With that many dead fuse sockets, that'd be my first suspect. Hope that helps! Jim
