are this two things one and the same starter relay vs ignition switch

I was listing to music in the car and left the switch open so that could here music. I
would turn the car for 4 minutes like every 30 to 45 minutes to make sure that the
battery would mot die. when I was done with my project, I then got in the car and
turned the key to on and the car did nothing. I then went to Youtube and watched a
video that recommended to by the (starter relay switch) and i changed it and it did
Nothing. I worried now and need help

what if you in avertible changed your security program, no,I doubt that ,try unhooking a battery cable and freshen up the body control system
