My car temperature hand went over to the red meter, my fans are not coming on , I check the fuses and the re lay fuses, also switch them, and they're still not coming on, need help.

I have a 08 dodge charger with the 2.7 l engine. it was throwing the code for the fuel level sensor so i replaced the fuel pump on the driver side and still have the check engine light on. could it be the passenger side that needs to be replaced as well?
