Asked by Shaq Dec 03, 2015 at 10:47 AM about the 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have Toyota Sienna 2008 AWD, having issue with
the tires, I bought it with bad tires, considering
someone did not had the wheel alignment done
on them, replaced the new Michelen defender tire
with 90,000 mile warranty and had Van aligned, I
been told the rear wheels has camber off and
there is no adjustment to that and due to that Van
is eating front tires from outside and rear tires
from inside and there is nothing can be done
except rotating the tire and putting new tires when
needed,
Anyone have more and true information about this
issue, appreciate for help. Thanks

Thank you for your detail answer but as long I been told by alignment guy from Merchant tire, that, the way vehicle been designed, shims can't be installed, they recommend to go to body shop and they will be able to fix it, but somehow this solution don't look right to me, body shop usually fix those kind of issues to the vehicles involved in the accident and frame has been damaged and bent. But for sure I will like to go to someone who had long time experience in alignment or so, as you said, I'm going to start checking around and will update the result, thanks and appreciate your opinion.

Vehicle was not involved in any accident and I would probably would try to find someone who can look at properly. Thank you
