2008 Honda CRV

Asked by Jros Jun 11, 2017 at 12:28 PM about the 2008 Honda CR-V EX AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2008 Honda CR-V was making a
squealing noise when it was running then a
puff of smoke came out of the hood and
then it stalled the other day. I restarted it it
ran fine no squealing and then today
nothing as in would not start, no power at
all, even key fob for door locks won't open
the doors. Battery is 4 mths old and posts
are clean and tight. Any ideas on what
problem(s) may be? Garage can't look at it
until Wednesday. Would be happy if it's a
simple fix for myself. Going to put battery
charger on battery to check it out.

If someone has an answer I would
appreciate it.
