I have a 2008 G35, just 106K. All of a sudden when driving it will shut off, no check engine light or waring at all. The car starts right back up but it may do it 2 -3 times a day. I took to dealer to have checked and they told me the timing cover was leaking and when the car is hot it will cause to stall. Doesn't sound right to me. The is no oil leaking, dipstick is alwats right on, and they want to charge me 2500 to repair. Can a leaking tiing cover cause a vehicle to stall?
