Clunk

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 08 Rav4. when I make a left turn only, there is occasionally a " clunk" coming from the rear end . more pronounced when wet. rather loud at times. Not all the time. Someone suggested CV joint. I guess in the rear.

Any other thoughts? Is this expensive?
