The filter depends on if it's a 4cyl or 6 cyl. As will the amount of oil. You will need something to catch the dirty oil. The same place you get the filter from will sell a oil catch pan and a funnel (to put the new oil into the engine). You do not have to heat up the engine. In fact it will make the oil very hot and you can burn yourself. The rest of what crumbob said was correct. Just make sure you don't over tighten the filter or the drain plug when you put them back on. Oh and make sure the old filter gasket isn't stuck on the engine when you put the new filter on. It will leak if it's double gasketed.
