Air Conditioning

Asked by curtisj110 Mar 17, 2011 at 11:24 AM about the 2008 Lincoln Navigator 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Has anyone had any problems with it just running out of Refrigerant?  I bought my 2008 about a month ago, and just turned on the A/C to find it blows nothing but warm air.  Do they run out of Refrigerant?

all cars leak refrigerant eventually. you'll want to replace the seals if it is in fact the refrigerant. If you find that the refrigerant is full, it may be the compressor clutch switch (usually a $12-$25 part at advance auto parts)

check the thermostat on ur ride. if it doesn't help, take it to a dealer. http://lincoln-navigator.org/
