2008 lincoln Mkx front windowd

Question type: General

My front window will not go down on my 2008
Lincoln MKX. When I press and hold the switch to
lower or raise the window I get a compass error. I
have pulled all of the fuses and replaced them and
I have also changed the switch but the same error
occurred. This happened after I found the positive  
battery terminal  loose. What should I do now?

Sounds like the only thing left is the window motor. Remove door panel and check power going to motor with a test light also may what to try tapping on window motor with a hammer while holding window switch in the up or down position.
