I installed a cold air intake on my car and then I installed everything and hooked the battery back up and when I started my car it ran for 1 second the rattled and died. What would cause that?

Did you hook the MAF sensor back up in the tube for the air filter?

okay what would cause that is the computer does not know the temperature or relative air density of the incoming air....like tuffie says the MAF sensor probably has an AIT sensor built into it~ this info is needed or you ain't goin' nowhere~
