2008 hatchback with critter (mouse) getting between roof and headliner and storing seeds. How is it getting in there?? it is not getting in the passenger compartment itself

Question type: General

rural area with all types of critters, If the car sits more than a four or five days the Header liner will have a good hand full of seeds.  I vac out the seeds by popping out the overhead lighting.  They must be going up the roof support posts but how are they getting in there??

Not sure how they are getting there but heres how I keep them out -- I set off a house bug bomb every once in a while in the vehicle -- they seem to stay away after that

I had one in my glove box. If you look under the hood for the AC lines there looks like a spot where he can crawl right next to the AC expansion valve. I stuffed mine with Copper wool like the kind you buy to scrub pots and pans then duct tape over that.
