Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The oil light on my 2008 pontiac g6 keeps coming
on.the level is good and the oil life is still 55% . I
shut the car off and turn it back on and the light
won't come back on for up to a few days or
sometimes right away.the car is running fine. Any
idea what's going on?

My issue was the oil pressure sensor. It's located close to the starter.
