overheating problems

temp gauge fluctuates while driving goes all the way up but the more gas i give
it comes back down to normal. I recently had thermostat and water pump
replaced. It also say it's running hot when idle but the hose is cool and no
smoke is coming from engine. what could this be? PLEASE HELP

Bad temp sender. Does it push the water out when it says it's hot?

Ok if its pushing out water then you probably should have the radiator cleaned out
