2006 Cobalt all of the sudden I lost power steering, cruise control, power windows, windshield wipers. The a air bag light came on and the middle of the display on the dashboard (I.e. where the check in light and seat belt light is) is out. The car has driven fine until I started this morning. Now my driver's side window is stuck down and it's barley drivable. I went to a Chevy dealership and they say all recalls on the car were fixed in 2014, oddly enough including the ignition, power steering, and air bag ... I asked why it was all broken again. just got an 06 cobalt. my check engine light came on, took it to advance auto parts to see whats wrong with it, they told me it was a knock sensor. than that same day the check engine light went off and hasnt been on since. should i still take it to a garage to get checked out? or was something maybe just knocked loose while driving that its fine now? how serious of a problem is a knock sensor? 2 Answers
