Why is my 08 caliber having so many problems

Asked by Tayleet Feb 04, 2024 at 05:58 PM about the 2008 Dodge Caliber R/T AWD

Question type: General

I have a 2008 caliber that while I was driving just died
on me.
everything stopped working at 50 mph and  tge
steering locked up on ne and it died.  I got it off the
road thank God . but after a couple days of being
there,  I had to bypass my main relay to get it to start
again.
my driver side headlight keeps Going Out.  my
passenger side tail light and blinker and break light
have gone out and changing the bulbs won't fix it. I
can't get my car to start now Even though I have the
relay bypassed.
My passenger and driver's door are bent now cause
the Springs popped out of them and bent the fender
on both sides of my car and made it look really ugly.
My keyfob wont-work even with the brand new battery.
my Backlights are full of water. and the seals on my
doors are bad and my doors fill with water constantly.
every time it rains.
I had to drill  holes in my doors to drain the water out
of all of them every time it rains.
I don't have the money to fix it.
I can't even get it to start now. I need to know some
sort of quick fix to get it to started so I can at least get
it home

It's a fifteen year old Dodge Caliber. What else would you expect? Get the car to a mechanic to diagnose. Repairs might cost more than the three grand the car's worth.
