Asked by Ron Feb 26, 2020 at 10:30 PM about the 2008 Dodge Caliber R/T AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving home from work today my radio stopped working when I stopped
at the next intersection I looked at my Dash and all the dash lights were on so I
pulled into the Kwik Shop shut the car off went inside and came back out a few
minutes later and tried to start it. it won't start the key will turn. the flashers will
come on but it won't start also I noticed that in the last couple of months my
battery light has come on when I drive but it seems to go off right away it's only
on for a few seconds.

If the fan belts are near new ~ Check fuses ~ have the battery and alternator checked ~ The last one is the car computer and it is usually the most expensive to replace. Good luck.

Your welcome ~ finally broke down and had a dodge dealership run their diagnostic (those are up to date) because my 2006 Dodge Dakota was throwing codes about the transmission and ECM (computer) $1508.00 later the problem was solved ~ it was the elusive ECM.
