How do I check trans fluid level on 08 3.8 w/ 6 speed tmis.

First open hood and look for the dip stick that says transmission. Pull it out,with the handle being at the top,look at the bottom of the dip stick. Should have a level diagram that says...hot warm cold. She where your fliud level is and if it is low add as needed. How? Using a clean towel wipe the dip clean and put it back in its original place. Pull it out and hold it with the handle at the top read the new fluid level if it reads below add level then add transmission fluid to the correct level. The first reading is never accurate, second reading is your current fluid level.
