08 Nissan Rogue SL gas pedal is not responding

Asked by RVOIZIN Sep 06, 2017 at 08:09 PM about the 2008 Nissan Rogue SL

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A couple weeks ago I replaced the axles on both
sides change my oil spark plugs and transmission
fluid and about 3 days ago my acceleration
became erratic. Yesterday it got even worse and
started to not respond when accelerating from a
stop. I'd hit the gas the RPM's would drop to
nothing and if I held it there long enough on the
floor it would eventually shoot off like a rocket.
Today same problem but worse now when it takes
off the whole car shudders like I hit a deep pothole.
There are no check engine lights on my car is
currently stuck at AutoZone because I took it there
to get a read on it but I fear it's not safe to drive.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm limited on
funds
