Looks like not. For either. But I'm curious, did it get damaged? Even the coolant is good for 10 years, the Toyota "Long Life" stuff they put in at factory. A 2008 should not need a radiator. That one guy took the grille off bot not bumper cover, the A/C condenser is in front of radiator, don't mess with that. One, it's not necessary to and if you do all your A/C gas will escape, adding cost to job For thermostat follow upper hose to where it attaches to engine, just like most cars

Replace engine and 9 days later it ran hot. mechanic suggested to replace radiator and was charged to remove bumper cover too for replacement. and it ran hot again 20 days later. and now he said it blew a head gasket and will replace engine. radiator had looked fine after first time it ran hot and still had fluids. However after radiator was replaced with thermostat lost the fluids.
Wow, sounds like you have been getting the s- end of the stick with your car. Even if you have like 200,000 miles, that would mean easy highway driving and that engine should have lasted. Unless it was neglected with oil changes or ran low. I hope the mechanic is standing behind his work. But it lifts up and out after unbolting brackets and hoses, not straight out front. Otherwise, as mentioned the condenser would have to have been removed
