The TPMS light will come on for one of to reasons. One, you have the wrong pressure in one or more tires. This includes a low or overinflated tire. Just 5psi is enough to make the light come on. There is a white/black/yellow sticker on your driver's door frame. Make sure you set the tire pressures to what the sticker says, using a quality tire gauge. You may need to drive the truck to turn on the sensors so they will read the adjusted pressures. If your light stays on after you check the pressures, them you have a system malfunction, and will need to see the dealer for diagnostics. If you recently had tire work done, it is possible that a sensor was damaged. Have the dealer check it out first. If the tire shop damaged a sensor, they should replace it for you. If it's a failure in the system, it will still be under the new vehicle warranty.
