I have a 2008 Nissan Armada LE, the rear lift gate will not stay closed/lock. After looking
at the locking mechanism the lock at goes around the locking post works, however will
snap rt back into an unlock/open position.

My 2015 armada does this from time to time. I also noticed a gap on the driver side of the hatch door. Took it to the body shop and they said its probably the motor going out but they wanted $200 to look into it further plus whatever that costs. Since this started over been having issues with holding a charge on my battery
