Upgrading/swaping 16" Rims to 08 Alpha with 18" rims

Asked by hummyH3 Jan 16, 2011 at 10:06 PM about the 2008 Hummer H3 Alpha

Question type: Car Customization

I would like some advice regarding changing the stock 18" rims and tires of an 08 H3 Alpha for the 16" (7 spoke) OEM rims and tires. Would this cause any issues with the electronic tire pressure monitor system? I was told it dcould but I don't know how as I have seen manu 08 Alpha's with the 16" rims. The 18" 'flat' rims look ugly to me. Also, would there be a considerable change in the ride?

I don't think the tpms would give you problems. As for wheel and tire fitment check out this site. http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp
