Low beam headlight is not working after replacing headlight

Low beam light was out on the driver side on my Fusion. I replaced the bulb.
That didn't work. I tested the connection and found that there was no power
coming to the light plug.

Then I took it to a mechanic. They told me that the hole headlight assembly
would need to be replaced. Spent the money and had it done. The light
worked for about 48 hours. Now I'm in the same spot I was before replacing
the light.

Anybody have any ideas to what to look for now?

I don't know why they would replace the head-light assembly, all plastic, no ground there, unless they felt it was not holding the bulb properly, ground is in the wiring to the bulb, sounds to me you have a bad connection somewhere, wiggle bulb when on, check back further in the wiring to the next connection check it. Also you do not want to touch the bulb with your fingers as the oil from your hands, fingers cause the bulb to prematurely burn out.
