I'm gonna order a cai and tune from bamachips and was wondering is there a difference in performance between these two intakes?

A quick google search shows the JLT series II won the 05-06 CAI intake shootout in 5.0 magazine... However haven't seen anything proclaiming how anything faired or actual data, just people saying JLT is the best... So they're either the best or have a good ad campaign.

I have an 07 GT myself. The problem is both are excellent Cold Air Intakes. One looks a bit nicer under the hood in my opinion and thats the C&L. Both with a tune from Doug at Bama will give you nice gains in HP and Torque. That having been said there is a significant price difference between the CnL and JLTs. Also you can get a nice shiny matching air pipe with the JLT which might offset the slight visual difference. I personally have the JLT and my car is a show car as well as cruiser.(Not a Daily Driver.) I think you can't go wrong with either its all about which one you like to look at more.

The C&L kicks butt, you can get dyno results from the net. and bang for buck it a good CAI.I purchased a Ford Racing CAI with a tuner,Wow what a change
