2008 Jetta Need ORIGINAL rear mirror and mount.

Had my front window replaced after dealer broke it they replaced the window and are required by VW according to them to put a new VW OEM mirror and mount on the new window.  The problem with that is the mount does not place the mirror correctly on the car it makes it so you see the lights and sun roof controls. The original was longer and had more of a sloping curve so that that part of the car was not visible in the rear mirror. I have not had any luck finding one except for once on ebay where i missed the opportunity to buy it.  Any ideas.

It appears the partnumber is 3B0857511A, If so, check with Busdepot.com They can special order NOS from Germany. But, it does seem like the responsibility of the dealership to make it right.
