How do you know it's not getting spark to the plugs? Is that a guess? Please understand that I am not being flip, just trying to help. It could also be a fuel starvation problem. But if you know for fact it is a spark, ignition problem, not fuel then it could be many things. That is why I ask. But either way, why did you buy a new battery? Would not turn over to try to start? To begin with, if the battery was new original from a 2008 it has indeed lasted it's expected life-span and then some. But did you install the battery yourself? Was the CEL, - Check Engine Light - on... before, or a battery icon on dash? Also, when you insert key does the little red LED security light, the anti-theft, stop flashing?
