My Saturn

Question type: General

Ok after a long night of snow plowing I return to
the shop get in my car start it go in reverse to go
get my thing out of the work truck but when I
stopped and go to get out the door wouldn't open
so I rolled the window down and tried to open it by
the outside handle .....thinking maybe I broke the
cable ......but still nothing so my question is
......how do I get my door open? Or how do I get it
open if nothing works to get the handle to work?
How do I get it open without damaging the door so
I can fix it?

I've had to take the trim along the outside of the window and use a coat hanger with a hook to grab and pull the lever piece. It takes aLott of patience. Had to do it on a 2000 Camaro when we putting the speakers in and shut the door after we had messed with the lock system and unhooked the handle
