brake pads question?

If you are a mechanic then you should know that you only need to turn or replace rotors if they get warped, heavily scored, or below minimum thickness. Otherwise just change the pads and fluid when your supposed to.

i have an 05 corolla and i had to change the front pads about 3 times to one to the back pads. your back pads only do about 25% of the work. all in city driving. i had rear drums and front disc brakes. if you have 4 disc it may be different im not sure. hope this helps a little.. take care.

i have replaced jsut pads befor also. the pads will wear themselves to contour the rotor. i like to get them turned myself.

You can spend as much as you like on upgrades. Get high grade rotors/pads for better stopping power and durability. Brakes are the ultimate safety devices. Quality does make a difference and so does training. Go to an advanced driving school and you be amazed as to what you do not know. I am on my 4th. Lots of fun as well. Best regards.

brake pads ,weather disc/hydraulic/brake shoes....are n will be the most important part of the car...and mostly it depends on how one actually drives.....brake shoes are outdated but can last for at least a year....rear drums are helpful and can be repaired...and brake fluid should always be checked before you go for a long drive.....safety first...oh n make sure the tires aren't too worn out

I have a corolla 1995, Does anyone know which disks I need to change the drums from the back?
