Could a fuse problem affect the fuel pump

My mechanic said a security code of some kind keeps coming up   The car
cranks but won't start its not getting gas

That is the reason the car will not start because the security code is coming up, nothing to do with a fuse. Your mechanic has to clear the security code first. If he does not know who to do it , I would take the car to someone else....
