My 08 Nissan Altima engine mileage readout
changed from 165000 to 124000. Any help?

You sure you were not looking at you Trip A vs Trip B readouts? Mileage on a car doesn't automatically change... if it did, it could be a serious electrical issue. Check with a dealer asap because this could be very funky when you go to sell the car.
