I have a 2008 saturn Vue V6 and this morning while driving to work my started slipping and not shifting. Is there a recall on the transmission, I'm the first owner

Hi jusda5ja, I am sorry to hear about the issue with your VUE. Tom is correct we would send you a letter when there is a recall associated with your VIN. If you have not gotten one your VUE most likely doesn't have a recall on it. I can double check for you if you'd like. I have a 2008 Saturn Vue (3.5 V-6) with less than 50 K and its in the transmission shop because of transmission issues, Im afraid that it may have to be rebuilt. I took a chance on american cars and this is what I get, I guess. Does anyone know about how much more this GM lemon is going to cost me?

The three most important components of a vehicle are the engine,transmission and brakes. So when the transmission is defective due to inferior wave plates is a serious and expensive problem. GM is taking I so a case by case basis. I wish they would do a recall and makes things right. Use a customer right and they will always come back!
