Had the computer read out checked for my 2004 Saturn Vue and the code is P0442. I don't have a repair manual but does anyone know what that specification means?

the battery light came on car was running but lights went out . Checked the battery fuild it was low. add water..not sure if i should have and had someone jump start it and everything ran for a few min and lights.
