It usually varies from state to state. Here in FL we can go as dark as we want on all the rear windows as long as the front door windows are light tint. Check with your local tint shop and they should be able to tell you for sure.
Call the local police station NOT 911 and explain you would like to tint but don't want to break the law. What is the legal limit
