Question type: General

2008 Ford Taurus.  The rpms drop down to zero
when at a stop. When I’m going 70mph, the rpms
are at 1200. The car drives fine.  Any idea why this
is happening

I had a Focus that was doing the exact same thing and it turned out to be the EVAP purge solenoid.
