2000 Dodge Dakota 5.9l ABS

Randomly had to get on the brakes a little harder
than normal one day and since then my brake light
and abs light comes on ONLY when it's in gear.  I've
tried getting the code read but they don't pop when
the truck is off or in park. I'm ready to replace
sensors but I just have no idea where to start.

Go to nearest parts store and ask where the ABS sensor is located on front axle can explain better in person then writing it down.
