Dakota wont turn over and start

Asked by Kevin Nov 22, 2015 at 07:23 AM about the 2000 Dodge Dakota Club Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have power to daah and all. Turn key nothing
happens. Keep 5urning and sometimes it just starts.
What is going on

Could be computer, cam sensor, crank sensor, or any number of other things. Need more info.

My 1994 dakota just did that today. Did you fid the problem cuz I can't. I put new battery in cause I notice my gauge for battery and bouncing around before it this happen. And my truck shifts hard but pretty sure that tranny problem.

97 Dodge Dakota won't turn over nor the lights will work , truck shut off while running and won't come back on , battery is and has been charging , I can only think of is the alternator , starter , battery or the crank sensor , is their anything else I'm forgeting to look at??
