If you hear the starter click into the ring gear, but is not turning over it may be the motor is locked up from overheating. Should verify by pulling all the spark plugs and see if you can turn the engine over by hand with a socket and strong arm on the crankshaft pulley.
Absolutely no sound at all when I try to start it.
The engine over heated and started knocking. Stalled by my driveway. Put water in it. Now it won't crank over. What could be wrong
