Sounds like a problem with the starter, starter drive not engaging. Pull the starter and have it checked.

You are not pressing the gas pedal are you? Is the engine turning?

Bob- No, not pressing gas. It seems like it is turning. I made a video... https://drive.google.com/open? id=0B85bKg-eKcXucjBiVG1lX2lyZXM

Looks like the copy and past function you used added a space between the "?" and "id". This happens frequently here. Also when I got that figured out the link says I need permission to access the video. I have requested it.

I am having trouble w/ the video. I took starter fluid and sprayed in the carb. It started. Didn't run. I'm thinking it is the fuel pump.

Fuel pump or the fuel pump relay.

Yes sir, there is a fuel issue if it starts with starting fluid until it runs out. You have to know if the fuel pump is running, you should hear it when you turn the key to on, it should prime up. As far as I can tell the fuel pressure should be 44 to 54 lbs. If the fuel pump is not running then it is electrical, & need to check for power back to the pump. If it is fuel pressure, then either a bad fuel pump or fuel regulator.

I will have a pump in hand today. Here is the video. https://youtu.be/4bNcgZypaY0 I'm thinking of grinding out a door to the pump through the bed. I have not pulled starter. I can't hear the pump when key is on. I tried solution / tester for pump and relay from vertical visions dot com but my particular truck isn't listed as a candidate. I even emailed with the owner. Repair will be in a parking lot. Comments / suggestions welcome. FYI. My fuse box doesn't have a pump or relay fuse under the hood, far as I can tell.
