What could be the reason my truck died while driving and now wont start never before

Asked by Jeremiah Jan 28, 2015 at 10:54 AM about the 2007 Dodge RAM 1500 SLT Quad Cab RWD

Dodge Ram 1500 3.7L 2007' 90000-95000 miles.....
The truck wont start now but starter seems to be turning, battery seems to be good order with charge,
The speedometer stopped working and check engine light just went on about a week ago but never died before.
There was a delay in the starter meaning turn the key on if I turned it to start it would take a while to start but always did never died at all.
A idea of why I think it is electrical, sensor or security system to allow the engine to run

does anyone have ideas ?
