Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey, hoping someone can help.  I have a 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 with
Dual Auto Climate controls.  I have plenty of airflow.  The issue is that unless
I have the temp controls set to the max temp, I get zero hot air.  If I move a
control just slightly off of max, the air becomes cold.  I have tested the
controls with a Snap On scanner, which showed all controls operating within
specs, the rheostats are working, the temp doors move accordingly.  My
coolant levels are perfect, and the car runs at about 215 degrees when
warmed up to operating temperature.  Any ideas?

Really sounds like that switch...other thoughts, have you cleaned out the heater core? Reverse flow cleaning. You wouldn’t believe how these get gunked up. Even on 2 year old cars. Still thinking electrical though. Coolant temp sensor not getting a signal. Lastly the blower resistor. Just my thoughts
