problems after having fuel pump replaced

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car died one day and a mechanic found that
the fuse to the was blown he replaced it in a blew
again so I had the fuel pump replaced. When I got
the car back it was fine when I went to get gas it
didn't want to go into the tank and I could see it
bubbling as I pumped it which I found out by
sticking a coat hanger in there that it was sugar.
At first it would just shake when it started and
make noise when I turn the wheel and then it
would run fine. I replace the fuel filter put some
seafoam in it and that fix the problem temporarily.
Still makes a very loud noise when you turn the
wheel after its first started and sometimes it kills
the car. Sometimes it dies right after you start it. It
will not let me give it gas sometimes that will kill it
just pushing on the gas pedal. But through all of
this the engine shakes really bad makes a lot of
noise and then it wouldn't even out. So then it
came to the car didn't run at all I took it back to the
mechanic he says their sugar has nothing to do
with it and he thinks it needs a computer. If the
car doesn't start engine shakes really bad the
RPMs are low it dies if you push on the gas, it dies
if you put it in gear. Warming it up used to help
that doesn't do anything anymore. I really need
some suggestions here

You need to find another mechanic, the one you used is just guessing. Find one a garage that is ASE certified.
