Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Thanks for the hopeful answer. While I'm waiting on parts, is there a way to get the
window up so I can lock it in place until I can do the repair? I cannot reach it for the top of
the door.
Thank you.

I'm answering my own question! Thanks to you guys and gals, and the links, I have done my first power window repair. I replaced the power window assembly and its a complete success except that when I press the button for auto close, the window goes up and then down 2 inches! Kinda funny- all I have to do is press and hold and it closes all the way. I would appreciate any input on that if there uis any- its no biggie, though. BTW- my wife thinks I'm a genius since she has never seen me work on a car, except to clean it, for over 14 years!
