My 06 Odyssey pasenger, electric does not open.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The passenger electric door does seem to unlatch but does not open. There is a broken cable extending from the back of that door. I do not wish to invest in a cable, motor, etc. How do I get the door open? If needed I will replace the bracket.

A very common issue on the Odyssey's of all years. Search online, there are plenty of youtube videos and articles in the Odyssey forums that offer quick fixes to permanent solutions without going to the dealer. Cargurus won't let us post links or threads.
