Why is the dealer price shown on Cargurus different than the price shown on the dealer's website? Example stock# FA193003 was shown on cargurus as $9400and the dealer stayes that the selling price is $10,998. This is the second listing I have called on where the dealer stated that the price is higher than what shown. 2 Answers

Yesterday, a Toyota Prius was listed on cargurus with a price of $14,999 but when I contacted the dealer, they said that was a special price that had expired. I contacted them and said that at their very moment, the price still showed as $14,999, but they said the price was now $16,999. Isn't that a tactic forbidden on cargurus? I notice on the price history, there have been several jumps in price in August. Is there something unethical going on? 1 Answer
